The rule of thirds is for the serving size at meal
time. If you are in a gain phase, add a meal or two to
get to 8 per day. If in a cut phase, then the thirds
works at a total of vie meals. I used the rule of
thirds a few years back for 7 meals daily and lost net
16 pounds in 8 weeks just by cleaning up my food
choices.

Now the rule of thirds is great, but should the serving
portions be with what your weight is, weight goal, or
enough to get you through the day? Fist size is an
clever measurement but what is excatly needed for
goals?
