I did when I was younger. I'm now 65.

Hey Richard, Steve Reeves worked out three times a week
at the most. I do two full body workouts a week. It's
plenty along with some mild cardio on days off.

That would depend tremendously on the individual. Do it
for 1-3 months, then stop and try something radically
different for the next 1-3 months, rinse and
Don't get caught up on doing the same
routine thinking it will constantly provide results.
Same goes the actual movemtents you perform. Try
swapping from something like circuit training one
month, power lifting another month, straight sets
another month etc.
Bottom line, just keep
experimenting and swapping it up, can't go wrong!

Added: June 28, 2011
On to part 2 at the House That Eddy Built, this old pair mull over training technicalities, peculiar pre-workout solutions, would-be guests, and the "cult" of bodybuilding. Ed points out how only in recent times have almost all other sports adopted principles of strength training, lending some credibility to a lifestyle and community often left out of mainstream attention.
